Role description: 

The QA/Functional Tester is part of the Agile Scrum Development team who is working on Arcadis.com. This global, multilingual website platform plays a vital role in our Digital Ecosystem to engage with various Arcadis’ target audiences. As QA/Functional Tester you will responsible that our platform meets high quality standards of quality and performance in addition to identifying and escalating any issues related to website functionality, content accuracy, and user experience. 

Role accountabilities: 

Perform end-to-end testing to ensure the quality of the new website features and updates Develop and execute (manual and automated) test cases and test scripts to verify software  functionality and performance Conduct functional, smoke, regression testing Ensure test automation during development lifecycle Identify and report technical issues or bugs for the development teams Work closely with developers to verify and solve bug fixes Identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to enhance the user experience Collaborate with teams to ensure new features meet user requirements Continuously learn and stay up to date with the latest testing tools and techniques Work with cross-functional teams to improve website features, functionality, and user experience  Document and report any issues and provide recommendations for improvement Monitor website performance and conduct regular quality checks to ensure optimal user experience

Qualifications & Experience: 

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, media, digital or related discipline preferred. Experience testing web applications, including cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness and strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices Experience automated testing (Selenium, Playwright, etc.) Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases Experience working with Sitecore & Optimizely CMS is a plus Experience working with Agile Scrum way of working Experience working with Azure DevOps Good with logical thinking A team player who is able to build strong working relationships with a variety of marketing and business colleagues across the globe Willing to be on a mid-shift and adjust as and when required to accomplish tasks at hand Hands-on mentality, takes accountability, curious nature, continuous improvement driven both when asked for as well as on your own initiative; Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment. Positive attitude towards work, good inter-personal skills Good verbal and written and communications skills Effective time management skills Effective research and data-gathering skills Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software
