Quality Assurance Technician
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you ensure that all products are safe to consume and meets customer specifications. **Employee Type:** Full time **Location:** ON Stoney Creek **Job Type:** Production Group **Job Posting Title:** Quality Assurance Technician **Job Description:** **Schedule:** 8 hour shifts + occasional overtime, Monday to Friday shifts + occasional weekends, rotating days, nights, afternoons **Work Location** : 944 Highway 8, Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada **Benefits:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan with match, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), Life Insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) **Vacancies:** 1 **Salary** : $33.25 - $36.73 per hour, shift premiums, overtime > 40 hours **What you’ll be doing…** + Timely collection and analysis of production samples and organoleptic evaluation of finished product; verification of proper coding and labeling of finished product + Coordinate holding of out-of-spec product according to established procedures, document hold and/or Quality Incidents in Non-Conformance data base, and use of computer system for inventory transactions, Quality data entry/analysis, communication via Microsoft Outlook + Participate in morning taste panel, compliance with all safety policies and good manufacturing practices, and provide input to resolve production issues while maintaining all quality and food safety requirements + Conduct Sanitation Verification Activities as required (ATP, Micro Swabbing, Visual Verification, Allergen Swabbing) **Your skills and experience…** + University Degree or College Diploma in a science-related field or a combination of education and experience + Excellent communication skills, dependable, flexible, excellent math skills + Ability to work all 3 shifts on a rotating basis + Experience in quality analysis and/or product analysis + SAP experience _We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
