Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Job Description

Manage production lines along with a team of 3 total QA Techs. Responsible for pre-op inspection and ATP swabbing of machines and instruments. Uphold GMPs and maintaining Quality standards. Conduct product testing such as pH, salt titrations, Brix, and viscosity.

ResponsibilitiesManage production lines and a team of 3 QA Technicians.Perform pre-operation inspections and ATP swabbing of machines and instruments.Conduct product testing including pH, salt titrations, Brix, and viscosity.Ensure production follows GMPs and SOPs.Gather samples from the production floor for testing.Perform micro testing and ATP swabbing for bacteria.Essential SkillsQuality assurance and quality control experience.Experience in food manufacturing.Proficiency in ATP testing.Ability to oversee sanitation processes.Knowledge of HACCP, CAPA, Brix, and swabbing techniques.2+ years of QA/QC experience in the food or beverage industry.High school diploma.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to lead and uphold GMP standards with the production and sanitation team.Work Environment

The work is conducted at a site that primarily handles hot fill for sauces and dressings for food service and retail companies. The role is for the 2nd shift, with hours from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, which may extend until production is completed around 12:00am. The site has a variety of lines, including both warm/thermal and cold fill, with all food service being cold mix and cold pack. The QA Technician will oversee 15 lines and collaborate with the team to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained. Dress code and specific site protocols will be provided upon hirin
