Quality Assurance Supervisor

Administer the Lineage Safety Program at the facility level to ensure team members are working in a safe, controlled, and risk-free environment.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectivenessEnsure safe practices outlined by the safety program, standard operating procedures and standard work instructions are followedInspect, audit and verify all inbound and outbound product to ensure quality standards are metEnsure accuracy and legal obligations of all labels are metComplete daily walkthrough system checksManage complaint and non-conformance issues, including root cause and corrective actionsKeep work areas and equipment clean and safe throughout shift; in addition to following weekly and master sanitation schedule May need to ensure all glass controls are managed effectively

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain equipment calibration checksIdentify facility training and support needs on quality systems, policies, procedures and processes

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma (Secondary School) or GED2 years’ safety experience in a logistics, industrial, or related environmentProficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated supervisory skills with emphasis on guiding and developing a team, customer service, communications, and planningAbility to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gearMust be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
