Quality Assurance Specialist Quality Assurance Columbus, OH, US Pay Rate Low: 20.00 | Pay Rate High: 27.00 + Added - 01/11/2024 Apply for Job **QA Laboratory Specialist** Our client is the largest independent nonprofit research and development institute in the world, and they are looking for a **Quality Assurance Specialist** to join their rapidly growing team! **Pay:** $20 - $28 **Location:** Columbus, OH; Norwell, MA **Type:** Hybrid **Responsibilities:** + Conduct audits and report reviews within budget, coordinating with management as needed. + Plan and execute internal facility and technical inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory and project-specific requirements. + Generate detailed reports on findings and verify that management's responses effectively address any identified deficiencies. + Assist in auditing records and reports for compliance with established requirements. + Contribute to the development and maintenance of procedures and controlled documents. + Evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions as required. + Work closely with environmental scientists and database developers to review data tables acquired, assembled, converted, and formatted for database assimilation. + Review data provided by the laboratory, an environmental chemistry laboratory specializing in ultra-trace analytical chemistry for risk-based site assessments and risk management programs. + Ensure understanding of data related to PFAS, PCBs, PAHs, pesticides, and new and emerging contaminants, aligning with laboratory standards. **Key Qualifications:** + Associate’s degree in a related field with one year of technical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. + Basic understanding of chemistry.
