Provides assessment, evaluation and support for all quality initiatives within PHS Oregon. Provides concurrent and retrospective support managing initiatives to comply and in accordance with Center for Medicare and Medicaid requirements, The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements, administrative and program personnel, and third party payors. Actively works with physician leadership, Directors and Managers in the development and implementation of quality efforts, including preparation, risk monitoring and reduction in clinical and non-clinical systems, and coordination of multidisciplinary quality improvement projects. Acts as a facilitator and mentor for Department teams related to performance improvement. Authorizes and makes decisions on recommendations and innovative solutions. Serves as a resource and consultant for Quality Improvement activities and Professional Staff quality and peer review activities. Assists in development and performance of educational activities as related to Quality Improvement, Accreditation requirements, and Resource Utilization.
