Quality Assurance Manager

NxEdge is a world class company providing vertically integrated solutions to the Semiconductor market. Our expertise in Precision Manufacturing and Engineering Material Coatings (EMC) allows global leading chip manufacturers and OEM equipment makers to achieve next generation technologies. We are seeking a driven, hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to join our ever-growing company and team.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain systems at NxEdge for continuous improvement of quality issues – ie. -FAs, CARs, scrap and quality escapes reported.

· Actively participate in developing safety culture at NxEdge.

· Define inspection criteria based on statistical analysis for all areas of operations.

· Supervise and maintain SPC controls and documentation for Site.

· Pinpoint relevant training requirements.

· Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.

· Act as key contact with customers’ auditors: responsible for ensuring execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customers’ specifications.

· Manage a group of QA and clean room packaging technicians.

· Responsible to maintain ISO 9001 certification.

· Maintain and post monthly quality metrics.

· Provide training/leadership for QA Assurance

· Document Controller

· Participate in corporate level quality initiatives, share and implement “lessons learnt” and best practices.

· Responsible for First Article Inspections

 

 

 

Requirements:

· Four year engineering or business degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in semiconductor related field.

· Three plus (3+) years of QA operations experience

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills

· Safety oriented is a must

· Strong verbal and technical writing abilities

· Sound organizational skills

· Detail orientated with ability to multi-task

· Working knowledge in semiconductor QA is a plus
