We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to oversee integration and data testing for our insurance products. The QA Lead will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and accuracy of data flows between various internal and external systems, including third-party integrations. The role requires growing into strong leadership, technical expertise, and domain knowledge of the insurance industry. You will collaborate closely with software developers, data engineers, and stakeholders to identify requirements, develop testing strategies, and mitigate data-related risks.

The Role
Lead a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentoring on best practices for integration and data testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, business analysts, project managers) to ensure seamless integration and data testing processes. Design, develop, and execute integration tests to validate the interaction between various systems, including internal applications and external third-party providers (e.g., payment gateways, claims systems, etc.). Identify and troubleshoot integration issues, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Ensure that all interfaces and data transfers between systems are functioning properly and verify that data integrity is maintained across different systems. Perform data validation and verification, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across integrated systems. Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts that cover all aspects of integration and data testing. Drive test automation efforts for integration and data testing to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts. Identify potential risks and issues related to data and integration, proactively addressing them with the appropriate stakeholders. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure that integration and data processes adhere to quality standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team, adopting best practices and new technologies to optimize testing processes. Stay up to date with the latest trends in integration testing, data quality, and insurance industry standards. Demonstrate agility, ability to think outside the box and challenge established development processes and procedures. Keen to learn new things and explore like AI tools.The Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong background in integration testing, data testing, and working with complex insurance applications and platforms. Proven experience in managing test teams and delivering successful test strategies.Proven experience in Automation/Data experienceUnderstanding of automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent.Knowledge of the insurance domain, including underwriting, claims, policy management, and regulatory compliance. In the absence of direct experience, a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and become proficient in a new, unfamiliar environment will be essential.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
