Spherion is partnering with our client, a trusted manufacturer of food packaging products in Louisville to find their next Quality Assurance Inspector!
This position will inspect finished and in-process product to required specifications. If you've got an eye for detail and a history working with GMPs and SOPs, we'd like to speak with you! ... This position will work 12 hour, rotating shifts from 7PM-7AM.

Responsibilities:
Conduct visual and quantitative product inspections
Verify products meet/exceed customer specifications
Perform line change procedures
Complete SOR qualifications
Maintain Food Safety Program (GMP)
Identify and manage non-conforming products
Keen near vision and detail orientation
Fast wrist-finger movement skills
Strong knowledge of quality procedures
Ability to identify plastic bottle defects
Proficient with laboratory equipment
Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills
Responsible for wearing the following types of PPE at all times:
-Hearing protection
-Safety glasses
-Steel-toed shoes
-Hairnet
-Beard net (for chin hair >1/8 inch)

Working hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Qualifications:
Ability to lift 30 pounds overhead to six feet
Capable of walking/standing 12 hours per day
Excellent manual dexterity and multilimbed coordination
Flexibility for bending, stretching, and reaching

Fast wrist-finger movement skills
Strong knowledge of quality procedures
Ability to identify plastic bottle defects
Proficient with laboratory equipment
Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills
