Quality Assurance Inspector 2

JOB SUMMARY
Performs inspection of product received from suppliers and internal finished goods produced by packing lines for conformance to
specifications by being self-starters and self-sufficient.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs inspection of product received from specified suppliers per AQL sampling. Travels to local DPAM sites or
other 3PL sites as necessary to complete inspections and train DPAM/3PL associates.
2. Performs final inspection of product from DPAM Repack and Navigation Lab operations per AQL sampling.
3. Updates system to document inspection results and either release product to inventory or move to QC Hold.
4. Develops Quality Control Inspection Standards to establish engineering drawing requirements as inspection criteria with
support of QA Inspector 3.
5. Uses Material Alert and Rejection Notice systems to document product quality issues and initiate part rejections, ships
rejected parts to suppliers using Shipping Work Order system.
6. Coordinates with QA Inspector 3 to keep Quality Control area organized.
7. Able to clearly communicate product Quality issues to various stake holders (i.e. Engineering, Product Management,
Quality Assurance, Receiving, etc.).
8. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as directed by Supervisor/Manager.

Education
· H.S. diploma or GED required
Work Experience
· 4+ years of relevant experience required

Standard ADA Selection Warehouse Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Throughout the course of the day, the employee is often required to sit; climb or
stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the day. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Depending on location, the employee may be exposed to temperature extremes varying from very hot in summer (up to 100
degrees) to very cold in winter (down to 45 degrees). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally
exposed to moving mechanical parts and material handling equipment, and is regularly exposed to dust and a moderate noise
level. A safety vest and protective shoes are required in the warehouse.
Other Requirements
Must be willing and available to work assigned schedule to include daily overtime, weekends, or alternate shift hours as assigned
by Supervisor/Manager to reach production goals.
