Join Concentrix as a Quality Assurance Engineer (Applications / APIs)

Role Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Concentrix, you will be at the forefront of our transition from SQL to Databricks, ensuring the quality and reliability of applications and APIs. This is a pivotal role where you can make a significant impact by developing and maintaining automated testing processes, particularly in data ingestion QA, using PyTest.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and create detailed test strategies.Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using PyTest.Conduct both manual and automated testing on applications and APIs.Validate data ingestion workflows during the transition to Databricks.Manage and track defects throughout the development lifecycle.Maintain test environments and ensure their efficiency.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.Stay informed about the latest QA trends and methodologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.Proven experience in quality assurance, focusing on applications and API testing.Strong proficiency with PyTest and experience in test automation.Experience in data ingestion QA.Familiarity with SQL, Databricks, and data analysis.Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with transitioning projects from SQL to Databricks.Knowledge of other testing tools and frameworks.Understanding of agile and iterative development processes.
