A Typical Day The Quality Assumptions Manager will oversee the daily operation of the Assumptions department including activities pertaining to all Assumption types such as GSE, FHA, VA, USDA etc. As the Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff to meet all service level expectations and ensure compliance with Company policy and procedures as well as State and investor initiatives and directives. The Quality Assumptions Manager will: Ensure that all staff service levels are achieved and that quality meets company and investor standards Evaluate processes to ensure application of best practices and maximize staff utilization Ensure operations team operates in accordance with established business unit organizational design, workflow, role and task assignment standards Maximize the use of technology and limited documentation programs to enhance the customer experience and achieve the highest levels of efficiency Conduct regular meetings to ensure open communication, mutual understanding of team and fulfillment site goals and objectives Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values What You’ll Bring Working knowledge of Fannie, Freddie, FHA and VA guidelines Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite Analytical aptitude including the ability to use multiple surveillance reports and leverage data to target focus on key priorities Why You Should Join As one of the top mortgage lenders in the country, Pennymac has helped over 4 million lifetime homeowners achieve and sustain their aspirations of home.
