**Job Title: Quality Associate**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a dedicated Quality Associate to join our team. This role involves performing quality checks on production units, handling documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. The position offers flexible shifts and the opportunity to transition to another department after the contract period.
**Responsibilities**
+ Review production documentation for quality and code compliance.
+ Assign National Board numbers to U-stamped vessels.
+ Generate and sign Manufacturers Data Report certifying code compliance.
+ Generate, copy, and distribute code nameplates to Production.
+ Generate customer-requested documentation related to quality compliance.
+ Retrieve and distribute archived documentation.
+ Perform final review of production documentation.
+ Generate new and revise existing procedures and work instructions.
+ Coordinate with third-party inspectors.
+ Provide training for shop employees.
+ Process Nonconformance Reports and follow up on corrective actions.
+ Perform internal quality audits and reviews.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Experience with metal stamping, documentation, and data review
+ Basic knowledge of pressure vessel code and related industry standards
+ Measurement techniques and use of measurement equipment
+ Technical writing skills
+ Time management skills
+ Verbal communication skills
+ Ability to multi-task
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to create and compile large documentation packages (50-400 pages)
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe, and Excel
+ Experience with automated equipment for stamping letters and numbers on metal nameplates
+ Experience with creating PDF files and emailing documents to clients

**Work Environment**
You will work closely with various production departments, requiring the use of PPE while walking through the warehouse. Once in the office area, PPE can be removed. Flexible shifts are available, including the possibility of starting as early as 6 am for training purposes. The facility is clean, organized, and features clearly labeled sections based on materials and production processes.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, Virginia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
