Qualitative Strategist

Numerator is seeking a Qualitative Strategist to join our dynamic and fast-growing Qualitative division! This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Qualitative expert who thrives on solving complex business challenges and is eager to help clients uncover insights that drive meaningful decisions. We’re looking for someone with a strong business acumen who can go beyond Qualitative research, offering strategic solutions tailored to clients’ unique needs.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, executing, analyzing, and reporting on Qualitative projects of all sizes. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and clients to scope and deliver impactful Qualitative research. This includes designing and moderating research—primarily through our asynchronous online platform, with potential opportunities to lead virtual focus groups and other Qualitative methodologies. You may also utilize your creativity and facilitation expertise to design and/or contribute to client activation workshops, driving engagement with and adoption of strategic research initiatives.

What you’ll do:
+ Collaborate with the commercial and custom survey team to scope Qualitative solutions for our clients, including stand alone and multi-method.
+ Create proposals and quotes for clients.
+ Work on Qualitative research within our research team.
+ May manage 1-2 direct reports, mentoring and overseeing their work.
+ Engage with clients to educate them about our solutions and processes while translating their business challenges into tailored, actionable solutions.
+ Moderate via our online/virtual methodologies, primarily using our asynchronous online platform but also online focus groups and IDIs.
+ Analyze and write Qualitative reports in Word and PowerPoint based on your moderated findings and other qualitative outputs such as video reels.
+ Help create supporting qualitative outputs such as video reels.
+ Project manage multiple simultaneous qualitative projects.
+ Contribute to the strategy for driving Numerator’s qualitative business forward.
+ 5+ years of solid Qualitative moderating, analysis and report writing experience
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
+ Asynchronous (bulletin board) qualitative experience an asset
+ Experience with quantitative research and panel metrics preferred
+ Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and ability to develop relationships across a wide variety of roles within an account
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
+ Can operate in an ever-changing environment and work within tight but reasonable deadlines
+ Ability to travel up to 10% of a given year
+ Research agency-side experience preferred
+ Previous CPG specific qualitative experience preferred
