 Job Overview

This role falls under the purview of the Global Finance team at ADP with specific focus on the organization’s transformation initiatives in the Finance division. The candidate will play a critical role in the successful execution of strategic initiatives within the Transformation Office and is expected to partner and work with several stakeholders in Finance, Operations, Systems and HR to project manage & execute large strategic projects which will include digital transformation, automation & transition to support the strategic initiatives of the Organization. The candidate will be fully accountable for understanding the need, identifying new opportunities to transform several of the Finance teams in an agile workplace.  The candidate will need to demonstrate a high degree of maturity and experience in scoping out opportunities for transition / transformation, identify the key deliverables, come up with a detailed Project Plan and follow it up with a flawless execution plan.  The ideal candidate will have experience leading transformation projects, a strong background in project management methodologies, and a preference for Smartsheet experience.  The position is in the capacity of an Individual Contributor reporting into the Director of the Finance Transformation team at ADP India and could over time have a small team of Project Managers reporting into this position.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 12-15 years of total experience with at least 8-10 years of core project management and related experience. Must have managed medium to large projects through the full life cycle involving multiple locations and/or business units carrying medium risk with project teams/stakeholders of at least 15 members, with a focus on transformation or large-scale initiatives. Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or similar project management certification essential and not optional. 3+ years of experience managing projects in a Finance function within a large or multinational corporation. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated experience with Smartsheet or similar project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices Excellent verbal, written, presentation and analytical skills with proven experience presenting to Senior Leadership (VP & above). Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives is a plus.

 

Preferred Skills

Master’s degree in computer science, business, finance, or a related field Project Management Professional (PMP) certified + additional project management certifications like Agile, Scrum etc. 3+ years of experience managing a project in Order-to-Cash related functions 2+ years of Business Process Management / Transformation / Data Analysis experience. Six Sigma – Green Belt, Black Belt, LEAN or equivalent
