Qlik Admin Lead – 12A

A Qlik Admin Lead is responsible for overseeing the entire Qlik environment within an organization, including installation, configuration, maintenance, security, user management, performance optimization, and data governance of Qlik applications, ensuring smooth operation and data accessibility for users while adhering to best practices and industry standards; they typically lead a team of Qlik administrators and collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand and implement reporting needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:In-depth knowledge of Qlik Sense/QlikView architecture, administration tools, and scripting languages.Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.Familiarity with database technologies (SQL Server, Snowflake).Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders across different departments.Leadership skills to manage a team of administrators and guide users.Experience:Overall 10+ years of proven experience as a Qlik administrator with a strong understanding of Qlik administration tasks.Experience in managing large-scale Qlik deployments and complex data models.Prior experience leading a team of Qlik administrators is preferredReady to work in shifts

Key responsibilities of a Qlik Admin Lead:

System Administration:Installing, configuring, and upgrading Qlik Sense/QlikView servers and components across different environments (development, staging, production)Managing licenses, user access, and security roles within the Qlik Management Console (QMC).Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing Qlik infrastructure.Performing regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.Data Management:Collaborating with data analysts and developers to design data models and optimize data loading processes.Implementing data governance policies to ensure data quality and consistency.Managing data connections, data refreshes, and data security measures.Application Development and Management:Guiding development teams on best practices for creating and maintaining Qlik applications.Reviewing and approving new Qlik applications, ensuring adherence to standards.Troubleshooting application issues and providing technical support to users.User Training and Support:Developing and delivering training programs to end users on Qlik functionalities and best practices.Providing technical support to users regarding data analysis, application navigation, and troubleshooting.Team Leadership:Leading and mentoring a team of Qlik administrators, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.Staying updated on the latest Qlik features, functionalities, and industry trends to inform team strategy.
