Are you passionate about supporting QEHS group management in improving the QEHS function within MacGregor? MacGregor is looking to hire an ambitious and proactive candidate to join our team.

This role is part of our Finance and Business Processes Function. Reporting directly to the QEHS Manager. This position is based in Hamburg, Germany.

Key responsibilities Ensure statutory tasks are performed uniformly across locations, including organizing Management Review Meetings, planning, safety training, and ensuring compliance with legal and internal standards Support and maintain the Integrated Management System and IMS ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 systems, driving continuous improvement Conduct internal audits, inspections, and external audit preparation Serve as the first point of contact for German authorities in collaboration with occupational health and safety experts Assist with cross-site projects, ensuring compliance and promoting best practices Analyze QEHS KPIs, prepare reports, and manage QEHS system administration in staff absence Map QEHS processes, identify optimization opportunities, facilitate Kaizen meetings, and implement 6S and lean methodology to improve efficiency Create, maintain and review work instructions, processes, and policies to ensure compliance with MacGregor standards

What you’ll need to succeed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (relevant experience can substitute formal education) Training or qualifications in at least two areas of HSE, occupational health & safety, quality management, environmental management, or process optimization; Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S is an advantage Marine or offshore industry experience is an asset Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 systems Experience working with interdisciplinary teams, with leadership or coordination capabilities, and understanding of high-performing organizational principles Approved as an internal auditor for at least one of the aforementioned standards Interpersonal and communicational skills German and English - both written and spoken Customer-focused, solution-oriented, "Can-Do" attitude, and willingness to travel You will be part of
