**Job Title: QC Lead**
**Job Description**
Seeking a QC Lead to lead a team of 4 QC inspectors, 2 on each shift, and manage the daily activities of quality control, testing, and reporting. The position works closely with the fabrication team to provide timely quality feedback to ensure the product moves swiftly through the QC and Test process for an on-time delivery to the customer. The role involves a lot of first article inspection of products and materials and documenting findings. Visual and dimensional inspection using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers to measure and evaluate pass/fail criteria is required. Perform root cause analysis to help identify and address issues that are causing quality concerns. Review and maintain quality records and communicate back to employees when issues are identified. Review and document non-conforming material using Excel and PowerPoint.
**Responsibilities**

+ Experience as a lead or supervisor (Preferred)

**Work Environment**
Open aired Non-AC environment in a manufacturing setting. Working hours are from 6am-4pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $24.00/hr.
