Primarily responsible for inspecting printed circuit assemblies, cables, box build units and/or materials for adherence to statutory/regulatory requirements, customer specifications and company policy and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Review inspection reports to ensure all inspection process have been fulfilledReviews engineering documents for any special requirementsPerform incoming/receiving inspection on raw components, bare boards, and all items related to PCB AssembliesMay prepare First Article reports for assemblies that are first time buildsAccurately enter inspection data into computerized processWork closely with QA Manager to resolve quality concernsParticipate in company or special training classes with emphasis on employee improvementEnsures work area is kept clean and safety rules are followedPerform other reasonable duties as assigned


Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485
Utilizing AOI machine, as applicable

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:

Excellent oral/written interpersonal and communication skillsRequires resolve to follow through until satisfactory resolution is madeAbility to work with and without magnification aids (microscope, mantis, loupe etc.)Ability to inspect to IPC-610/IPC-620/J-STD workmanship criteriaAbility to determine critical points of inspectionAbility to follow work instructionsAbility to follow direction from managementAbility to work well independently and within a teamAbility to gather and analyze informationAbility to learn through shadowing and following documented proceduresComputer proficiency: ability to learn and use ERP systemMust be able to inspect PCA, box build units and/or materials to IPC 610/J-STD workmanshipMust be able to inspect cables to the IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship criteriaMust be able to read and interpret industry standards, engineering drawings and specificationsMust have good computer and math skills


Education:
Minimum two (2) years inspecting electronics related to PCB Assemblies to IPC-610 standards
