Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced QC Inspector. The position performs inspections of incoming raw material based on technical drawings, conducts in depth warehouse audits and product line audits.

 

Responsibilities Conduct inspections at incoming, in-process and final inspectionsRead and interpret specifications and part prints.Perform root cause analysis and monitor corrective actions of inspection findings Communicate with external suppliersDetermine disposition of non-conforming materialInitiate Non-Conformance reports as requiredWork with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions. Communicate with mechanical engineers to ensure drawings and specifications are in compliance with the final product.Develop Inspection criteria per inspection plans and specification requirementsDocument information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs; logs non-conformities and generates monthly reportsAbility to work independently Qualifications ASQ Certified Quality Inspector a plus but not necessaryAt least 5 years experience in quality in a manufacturing environment Experience working with common measurement tools. IE. Calipers, Micrometer, radius gauges, and knowledge of basic hand tool a plusCandidate must be able to read blueprints/technical drawingsKnowledge of ISO standards a plus Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) requiredExcellent organizational, interpersonal, decision-making and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environmentMicrosoft office skills necessary
