Job Description

Quality Control HPLC Chemist 

Seeking a positive, motivated, and adaptable early career scientist for a full-time 2nd shift opportunity on 2nd Shift Wednesday - Saturday 1:00PM - 11:30PM

2nd shift differential included
Employee Responsibilities: 

Testing multiple techniques on UPLC and HPLC instrumentationHandling, and disposing of samplesCalibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to useExperience in HPLC, LCMS, and/or GCMS strongly preferredLevel will be determined based on relevant education and/or experience·         Preparation of reagents needed for testing and appropriate documentationAccurately records test results and reports any quality anomaliesMaintains laboratory supplies and performs laboratory housekeeping as assignedEnsures superlative customer service to clientsParticipates in required training activitiesComplies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements

QualificationsAbility to learn new techniques, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail Detail-oriented with a desire to do things right the first timeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDesire to work in a moderately physical role that requires much of the time standingStrong computer and organizational skills 

Previous experience with LCMS/GCMS, HPLC, or UPLC is a plus!

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other science-related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
