QC Compliance Consultant
Description We are seeking a QC Compliance Consultant to join our team in California. This role involves analyzing regulations and laws that impact Credit Union policies, processes, products, and services to ascertain associated risks and compliance adherence. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Analyze regulations and laws that impact Credit Union policies, processes, products, and services. • Determine associated risks and compliance adherence. • Develop and perform risk assessments and assign risk ratings for ongoing monitoring. • Serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory and compliance matters. • Research and respond to questions posed by Credit Union management and staff and provide solutions, both on projects and ad hoc. • Assist in the development of a comprehensive and holistic Compliance Management System (CMS) Program. • Act as the Risk and Compliance systems solution administrator, ensuring software updates are applied and business partners are trained in the use of systems. • Support other positions within the department as required. • Monitor customer accounts and propose appropriate action. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a QC Compliance Consultant role or a similar position. • Possession of a deep understanding of the BSA - Bank Secrecy Act is essential. • Proven ability to process tasks and deliver results efficiently. • Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other related software. • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work. • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. • A willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new regulations and procedures is required. • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Must have a strong ethical stance and integrity. • Experience in training and mentoring team members is desirable. • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred. • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends is essential.
