Quality Control Analyst, Small Molecules
for a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract position at our Grange Castle location in Lucan, Dublin, Ireland.
In this role, you'll play a crucial part in the analytical method transfer for New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring compliance with industry regulations and our high standards.
Your tasks in detail:
Review Analytical Method Transfer protocols, execute analytical testing, and support the drafting of transfer reports.Conduct Quality Control batch data reviews and support the scheduling of protocol execution/testing.Work closely with the method transfer lead and liaise with QC, QA, IT, and Manufacturing Operations departments.Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, support lab scheduling, and troubleshoot general laboratory systems.Develop and update SOPs, specifications, and forms for QC systems and processes.Ensure adherence to data integrity guidelines and support external audits (HPRA, FDA, corporate, client).Maintain high standards of safety in the laboratory and actively promote a culture of safety awareness.Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in laboratory operations and train other QC analysts as needed.Highlight and implement new technologies in the QC area.Your profile:
Minimum of a BSc Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.At least 2 years of practical experience in a GMP QC Laboratory.Proficiency in testing small molecule drug products or APIs using techniques such as Dissolution, Assay/Impurities by HPLC/GC, Moisture content by Karl Fischer, and general wet chemistry techniques.Experience with Small Molecule Analytical Method Transfers, particularly HPLC/GC methods, is highly desirable.Strong ability to review and write SOPs, transfer/validation protocols, and reports.Project Management: Excellent project management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.Good time management abilities to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various departments.What you can look forward to with us:
