QA/QC TEAM LEADER
 
Tasks
Attending food safety and quality meetings, reporting food safety and quality related problems to management irrespective of other functions Identifying and recording any hygiene/food and quality safety problems and recommend corrective action Give advice on areas that could be improved regarding food safety and quality Ensuring that FIFO principles are implemented within the area of influence Always keep all required documents and records up to date Daily, weekly and monthly paperwork to be kept up to date Good communication with both internal and external customer Daily, weekly, monthly hygiene inspections Customer complaint investigations, root cause analysis and report writing. Micro sampling and submission as per schedule Drawing/ updating of SOP’s Training of production staff and QC’s on SOP’s EDUCATION:
National diploma in Food Technology 2-3 years’ experience
Requirements
Strong communication skills both written and verbal Intermediate computer skills Report writing skills Team player Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines
