Job Title: QA/QC InspectorJob Description We are looking for two QA/QC Inspectors in the Greensboro/Raleigh region. The ideal candidate must possess one or more of the following certifications: AWS, ACI, AISC, or API. The role requires experience with industrial welding, concrete, or electrical construction, as well as the ability to interpret standard codes, conduct job site inspections and audits, and possess excellent computer skills. The candidate must also be analytical, familiar with expository writing styles, and have good interpersonal skills or training experience. Responsibilities + Perform and document inspection and surveillance activities. + Review specifications, drawings, and reports to ensure quality requirements are adequately translated into work instructions. + Review incoming materials for compliance with customer contracts and purchase orders. + Adhere to ASME Codes and other standards governing repair, replacement, and modification activities in the power generation industry. + Familiarize with receipt inspection processes, welding processes, welder and weld procedure qualifications. + Be capable of being certified Level II VT, PT, MT & UTT methods and perform mechanical inspection activities. + Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively in a code environment. Essential Skills + Minimum of 3 to 5 years of inspection experience with Quality Assurance. + Certifications in AWS, ACI, AISC, or API. + Experience with industrial welding, concrete, or electrical construction. + Proficiency in interpreting standard codes. + Experience with job site inspections and audits. + Excellent computer skills. + Analytical skills and familiarity with expository writing styles. + Good interpersonal skills or training experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with the receipt inspection process. + Knowledge of welding processes and welder/weld procedure qualification. + Capability to be certified Level II VT, PT, MT & UTT methods. + Previous certification in required inspection methods. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Work Environment Conditions include working in office, shop, busy traffic areas, and warehouses with exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions. Must be able to safely access all areas of the property and effectively use any required PPE equipment. The role requires the ability to stand and kneel for long hours while performing inspections and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The candidate must be capable of working day or night shifts.
