We are currently recruiting for a QA/QC Engineer to be based out of our Saudi Arabia office and provide construction leadership across KSA. As a QA/QC Engineer in Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control procedures throughout all stages of project execution. Projects typically consist of concrete repair, cathodic protection, waterproofing, and structural strengthening in commercial and industrial settings.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education - Degree in Civil Engineering OR Construction ManagementExperience - Minimum 4-8 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer or Inspector in a similar industry (Construction or restoration).Technical Knowledge - Familiarity with relevant International Standards and construction quality practices.Communication Skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.Problem-Solving - Ability to identify issues early and suggest effective solutions.Attention to details - High attention to detail in inspections and documentation.Quality Assurance & Control:
Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout all stages of project execution.Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.Identify and address quality issues in a timely manner to avoid delays and ensure project success.Review the inspection and test plan for all activities and ensure the document suitability in all phases of the project.Technical Expertise:
Must have good knowledge on Civil products, construction chemicals/ materials, and specifications.Review technical submittals, shop drawings, and other project documentation to ensure adherence during construction/ repair phase of the project.Witness all performance tests and interpret the results with project specifications and international standards.Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all quality control processes like observation, non-conformance reports, inspections, and tests.Prepare and submit QA/QC daily, weekly and monthly reports to QAQC Lead/Manager, detailing QAQC progress and any quality of concerns.Prepare QAQC Registers for all inspections, tests and monitor on weekly basis.Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with project teams, including sub-contractors, engineers, and suppliers, to ensure quality standards are met.Provide quality toolbox training to team members on quality control procedures and best practices to improve quality.Participate weekly progress meeting and discuss the quality issues related to the project execution.
