This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.
As the role evolves, you will take on additional responsibilities such as leading initiatives to improve test data management processes and tools. You will drive continuous improvement in integration testing methodologies, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
The QA team lead is responsible for creating a testing plan for any given project. This includes scheduling the test completion, with all necessary information, and in a way that provides valuable information to the stakeholders.
Required Skillset: Please include at least 3 KEY skills (competencies) required for the role.
Minimum 3
1. Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience.
2. Experience in large-scale application transformations, especially involving legacy systems.
3. Solid experience in managing the QA lifecycle in large programs, including planning, execution, reporting, and risk management.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders, including project managers, development teams, and business leaders.
5. Able to navigate complex organizational structures and work collaboratively across functional teams.
6. Create a comprehensive QA strategy for the transformation program that ensures consistent quality across all systems and applications.
7. Monitor and ensure the successful execution of testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, across the different systems involved.
8. Knowledge of Wealth management or Banking domain is preferred
