Actalent Services is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist who will split time between the lab and field, ensuring compliance with SOP and regulatory requirements. The role involves performing in-process inspections, creating and issuing batch records, and participating in audits. Responsibilities + Spend approximately 40% of shift in the lab and the rest collecting specimens. + Perform in-process inspections of active production, filling, labeling, and packaging areas to resolve problems early. + Ensure compliance with SOP and regulatory requirements. + Timely creation and issuance of batch records, documents, and establishment of area SOPs and WINs. + Participate in health authority inspections, customer audits, and global quality audits. + Assemble media fill batch records. + Verify daily cleaning is complete prior to production setup. + Review production logbooks for accuracy and compliance. + Perform daily pressure checks to ensure they are within proper limits prior to production setup. + Perform quality assurance responsibilities involving environmental monitoring. + Review and author relevant documents. Essential Skills + Experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance. + Proficiency with automation systems. + Experience in laboratory quality control (QC). + Ability to perform SOP inspections and visual inspections. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience working in a fast-paced lab environment. + Comfortable working on feet for long periods of time. + Ability to interact with patients in a professional manner.
