Overview

 

Join our well-established Infrastructure: Core Services team at Oracle NetSuite in Brno. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software within a Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) environment. Your role will involve monitoring and analyzing software behavior in production, writing and executing automated tests, and working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Using advanced diagnostic tools like OpenSearch and Prometheus, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems.

 

You will play a key role in detecting and resolving technical issues, improving test automation, and optimizing our CI/CD processes, all while ensuring the security, stability, and performance of our cloud services in an SDDC setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Writing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure software quality. Monitoring production environments using modern monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana). Analyzing software system behavior through logs and metrics in SDDC environments. Identifying and resolving production incidents in collaboration with development teams. Working with CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software deployments. Documenting issues and creating reports on system stability and test results. Collaborating on improvements in monitoring, testing, and diagnostic processes. Verifying bug fixes and preparing production environments for new deployments.

 

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience with modern monitoring and logging tools (e.g., OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation. Familiarity with Software-Defined Data Centers (SDDC) technologies is a plus. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash is a plus. Familiarity with Java and web development is a plus. Experience with cloud technologies and container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively with development teams. Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
