As Nuvolo’s **QA Engineer II,** you will be responsible for executing scripts within specified test environments with a high degree of accuracy on both Mobile (iOS and Android devices) and Web platforms. **As a QA Engineer II your role will include:** + Understand functional testing, smoke testing, performance, load testing, security testing, API testing and end-to-end testing + Throughout the different releases and products using critical thinking and analysis + Ability to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly + Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment + Working closely with the Product team (Engineering, Product Management) + Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback + Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cycles and test cases + Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities + Relies upon more experienced engineers for guidance + Works in hand with the QA Engineer I to guide them through the testing + Communicate with stakeholders to understand and clarify software requirements + Analyze test results to predict user behavior, identify bugs and suggest solutions to minimize problems + Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system + Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios + Log and document bugs in the tracking system (Jira) + Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback + Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cycles and test cases + Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities + Work closely with development team and project management + Works in hand with the Jr. QA engineers to guide them through the testing + Communicate with stakeholders to understand and clarify software requirements **This role could be a fit for you if you bring:** + 3-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance practice + 2+ years’ experience with agile development methodologies.
