Job Description: 

Python Software Developer (Software Engineer II/ Software Engineer III/ Lead Software Engineer)

Key Responsibilities:

Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, thinking beyond routine approaches to build solutions or resolve technical problems. Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met by software code development. Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems. Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data, using insights to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture. Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new and emerging technologies. Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and applied experience. Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. Proficiency in coding in one or more languages, preferably Python. Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages. Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle. Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Understanding of Data Science libraries in Python. Experience with parallel computing. Familiarity with modern front-end technologies. Exposure to cloud technologies.
