What does your future team look like?

The team has four developers, three testers, a scrum master, and a technical product owner who are all working together as an agile scrum team. They work together with other Prague teams to develop a new cyber-security platform that will be eventually used in all devices across Siemens Mobility. It is their job to make sure that all devices which control trains cannot be vulnerable to cyber-security attacks.

For our development we are using Robot Framework and Python. Our target system is using Debian GNU/Linux. We have a fully established CI process using Gitlab CI for our automatic tests and build.  While working with us, you might also encounter technologies such as C++, Rust (for our latest applications), Bash, gRPC, cpputest, systemd, boost and many cyber-security topics such as PKI certificates, TLS (with openSSL), signatures and security hardening.

What will be your task:

Test development in Python  
Development and update of test environment Creation of documentation associated with tests 

Key requirements:

Experience with developing in PythonGood knowledge of Linux environmentExcellent analytical thinkingYou can speak English (the meetings, inputs and outputs of your work will be in English)Real focus on quality

What would we appreciate if you have extra:

Experience with principles of software testing (e.g. ISTQB)Understanding of code written in C++
Experience with cyber-security topics
