Job Description
The Purchasing Expeditor supports Purchasing. They will possess excellent documentation, organization, and communication skills and the ability to quickly learn and improve existing operations, systems, and methods. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
ResponsibilitiesManage receipt of PO confirmations.Manage confirmations to confirm that price and delivery dates are accurate.Scan and attach documents to both electronic and hard copy of PO.Notify Planner/Buyer of any issues with PO details (pricing, dates, quantities, etc.).Track open orders to ensure on-time delivery.Update system PO with notes and changes.Report delivery status in daily Production meeting.Place MRO and Expense PO's from purchase requisitions.Contact Suppliers on past due PO's and reschedule receipts accordingly.Assist in reconciliation of invoice, receiving, or other discrepancies with PO.Manage and follow-up on open DMR (discrepant material reports) and supplier corrective actions.Generate monthly supplier OTD reports for quarterly scorecards.Support internal customers in a timely and professional manner.Remain current on all Controlled Document levels.Essential SkillsBilingual - SpanishERP experienceExperience processing POsPurchasingLogisticsSupply chainAdditional Skills & Qualifications2+ Years Purchasing Assistant experienceWork Environment
Supply chain office within manufacturing floor. Team of 5 people in supply chain. Opportunities for growth, tenured staff with some having over 40 years with the company, weekly ice cream socials, and annual team picnics and events.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.23 - $24.04
