Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and efficient Purchasing Executive to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for our organization.
You will be working closely with Purchasing Manager to ensure that purchasing system is effective and all supplies, equipment, and relevant services are purchased while maintaining high quality standards and cost effectiveness. Start from responsible for process a payment of all projects as agreed issue purchasing order for all reimbursement and all contract fees process budget set up in Oracle with the accounting team conduct a payment forecast of all projects and lastly you would be responsible for sourcing the supplier data.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and improve efficiencyAnalyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisionsNegotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditionsManage the entire procurement process, from requisition to deliveryCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and source appropriate products or servicesMaintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant dataDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendorsEnsure compliance with company policies, UAE regulations, and international trade lawsPrepare and analyze procurement reports to identify areas for improvementStay updated on industry trends and best practices in purchasing and supply chain managementQualifications• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of project and construction purchasing experience.
• Working knowledge in project scheduling, purchasing, shipping Incoterms and processes.
• Good team player with integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills.
• Work well under pressure and able to work independently.
• Good in writing, documentation, coordination and analytical skills.
