What will I be doing?

\n

As Purchasing Coordinator, you will oversee and manage the entire purchase process for various hotel departments, ensuring a seamless flow from order requests to supplier quotations, order confirmations, and maintaining accurate records. Your responsibilities include performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nOversee and receive purchase requisitions from various departments.\nRequest pricing for goods from multiple suppliers.\nReview and analyze supplier quotations to ensure the best options are selected.\nFollow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.\nMaintain direct communication with suppliers to resolve any issues.\nAssist in the preparation and sequencing of orders.\nGenerate and review pre-set purchase orders, including market lists and others.\nMonitor daily reports for the receipt of goods.\nReport any discrepancies between the delivered goods and the requested items (including quantity, quality, and price).\nKeep updated files on suppliers, including alternative quotes for different products.\n

\n\nCompleted degree or studying in related fields.\nBasic English skills.\nBasic knowledge of accounting.\nExperience in the purchasing area, preferably in the hospitality industry.\nAbility to analyze and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.\nAbility to solve problems quickly and efficiently.\nStrong organizational and planning skills.\nGood written and verbal communication.\nTeamwork skills.\nGood interpersonal relationships.\nStrong knowledge of computer skills, including Excel, Word, and purchasing management software.\nProactive approach to meet deadlines and objectives.\n\n
