Our client is searching for a Purchasing Controller who will be responsible to control spend of nonstock items and to ensure efficiency in the process for procurement of nonstock and services
Key Performance Areas
Evaluation
Evaluate pricing payment terms quality and supplier performance
Suppliers
Source new and additional suppliers and reduce risk and cost improvements
Establish Service Level Agreements and conduct BiAnnual and monthly meetings with suppliers
Source nonstock and services from suppliers
Cost Saving
Continued improvement of process to identify possible cost saving initiatives and efficiency improvements
Provide feedback on cost saving initiatives
Purchasing Process
Implement and maintain purchasing process within the company
Procurement Compliance
Monitor procurement compliance with BEE preferential procurement measurement
Tenders
Assist with tenders as and when required
Requirements
Matric or Equivalent
Purchasing/Logistics/Supply Chain NQF 5
Diploma/ Degree would be advantageous
2 to 3 years Purchasing Controller experience Experience as a Procurement Controller would be advantageous
Must have own reliable transport
Must have Knowledge and Experience with
Financial Knowledge
