Position Description
Coordinates purchase of equipment, supplies, and other materials for assigned departments. Responsibilities involving conducting price reviews, placing orders, and maintaining inventories and associated records.
Position Requirements
REQUIRED:
1. Associate’s degree in Business Administration and/or 3 years hospital purchasing experience.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain and accounting principles.
3. Knowledge and experience in the use of MS Office and purchasing applications.
4. Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.
5. Ability to plan and prioritize a wide variety of activities in a high- volume, fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED:
1. Five (5) years’ experience in hospital purchasing.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Healthcare related field. Project Management; ability to work collaboratively with others and build positive business relationships.
