Shift: 5am to 2pm (must have the flexibility to work over if needed)

Pay Rate: $18.90/hr

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Primarily responsible for managing incoming and outgoing products and supplies and maintaining location’s inventory records (quantity and material value). Performs all work in compliance with company policies, Federal and State Regulations, (i.e. USDA, OSHA, etc) while achieving the highest level of productivity and maintaining customer specifications and satisfaction

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:     

Under general supervision, manage incoming and outgoing product and supply inventoryCompile and maintain records of type, quantity, and value of material or supplies stocked in establishmentCount material or supplies in stock and post totals to inventory records manually or via computeCompare physical and computer inventories with records, investigate and report reasons for discrepancies (overages or missing) if there are anyPrepare reports on price lists, inventory balance, and shortages

Review the production schedule to confirm you have sufficient stock available for upcoming production requirements

Receive shipments, process paperwork and ensure all shipments are correct

Unload trucks and put away stockMaintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring all areas are free of debris, properly stocked, and safe for operationsAssist other team membersCheck Box Room inventory to make sure they are stocked for 2nd shift and next day start up to avoid being called to come in bring items over from the warehouse.Must be flexible to work over if needed

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Minimum one (1) year experience working with inventory counts or previous WSF positions.Ability to communicate (both speak and write) and comprehend English fluentlyAbility to fluently communicate both internally and externally in a timely and professional mannerMust have proficient computer and math skillsSelf-starter who demonstrates strong initiative and sense of urgency, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment when needed and the ability to effectively multi-taskStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize to complete tasks while maintaining attention to detailMust be able to work unsupervised to complete all tasksMust have experience driving a forklift and pallet jackAbility to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours

Ability to lift 20 lbs frequently and 40 lbs. occasionally.Ability to frequently move about the facilityMay be exposed to heat (99 degrees F, 37 degrees C) and (45 degrees F, 4 degrees C)Exposure to wet and/or dusty environmentWork around live and/or raw animal odors.
