We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Purchasing and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the procurement process, handling purchase orders, receiving inventory, and ensuring all materials are accurately recorded and stocked. If you have experience in purchasing, receiving, and inventory management, and you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities: Process purchase orders and ensure materials are purchased in a timely and cost-effective manner. Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, confirm orders, and track delivery timelines. Receive shipments and verify that all items are delivered in correct quantities and undamaged. Inspect, count, and record inventory items upon arrival. Update inventory records and assist with maintaining optimal stock levels. Organize and store received materials properly in designated locations. Assist in reconciling discrepancies between purchase orders and deliveries. Maintain an organized and clean receiving area. Assist in preparing and maintaining purchasing and receiving reports. Support warehouse operations, including stocking and organizing items. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferred. 1+ years of experience in purchasing, receiving, or inventory management. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with purchasing software. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with vendors and team members.
