Purchasing Agent (79125-4)
Job Responsibilities

· Manages relationship with suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contracts

· Issues purchase orders to suppliers

· Set up stock numbers for new items and products

· Researches and develops products for the Company to sell by tasting and evaluating sample products, visiting production companies, and working with the sales departments and warehouse to identify customer needs and preferences

· Works with group companies and sister companies to assist with processing and shipping orders to their locations

· Negotiates bulk discounts by coordinating with MTC Group for bulk purchases

· Conduct inventory checks any time there are errors with the warehouse inventory

· Assists with annual Food Expo preparations

· Attends Company events and functions outside of normal working hours

· Other duties as required by department manager

· Obligation to answer to all management as requested
