PDS Tech Commercial Inc. is seeking dedicated and mechanically inclined **Rotating Equipment/Pump Repair Technicians** to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will set up and maintain machines in the shop for pipe fabrication, with an emphasis on precise measurements and mechanical repair tasks. Your expertise will support the assembly and repair of centrifugal pumps, including vertical turbines, split case pumps, and positive displacement pumps. **Work Schedule:** + Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM + Pay: $22.00/hour **Key Responsibilities:** + Measure and record random pipe lengths with high precision, ensuring accurate fabrication. + Use tools such as micrometers, gauges, and indicators to ensure accuracy in measurements. + Troubleshoot and resolve pump performance issues both in-house and on-site. We'll provide the guidance you need to tackle real-world challenges. + Interpret installation and operation manuals, as well as schematics, to complete repairs and assemblies. + Operate band saws, torches, and Landis machines to cut, groove, thread, and bevel pipes. **Qualifications:** + Hands-on experience or training with centrifugal pumps, like vertical turbines and split case in addition to positive displacement pumps. + Ability to use and read micrometers, gauges, and indicators is well-developed. If you have basic knowledge of manual machining, that’s an added advantage. + Ability to interpret installation and operations manuals and schematics accurately. + Troubleshoot and resolve pump performance issues both in-house and in the field.
