**Description** Job Title: Mechanic - Electric Motors & Pump Repair Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electric motors and pump systems. Work on systems related to wastewater, water, and fire FDCs. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in pump and motor systems. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of equipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately. Qualifications: Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of electric motors, pump systems, and related equipment. Experience with wastewater, water systems, and fire FDCs is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with 24V systems and PLC experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move items up to 30 lbs.
