What you’ll do:
Under the general supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Care Services, and the direct supervision of the Coordinator of Pulmonary Laboratories, provides diagnostic pulmonary function procedures, bronchoscopy assist, conscious sedation, setup and interpretation of neo/peds event records, sweat chloride testing, and functions as a Respiratory Care Practitioner II as needed.

What you’ll need for this job:
Associate degree in respiratory care; Bachelor's preferredCurrent IL state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified)PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferredOther: Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) required within 6 months of hire. Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) required within 18 months of hire. All Pulmonary Technologists are required to take the EKG course offered at Loyola and pass the certification.
