Job Description

Deliver presold Hispanic Brand meat and cheese product orders to supermarket clients on assigned routes.  

 

Essential Functions Load truck at distribution center, unload product at customers’ locations and stock according to customer          specifications; acknowledge signed receipt of product loaded at distribution center or received from carrier, and         is responsible for collecting signed receipt documents from customers in accordance to company policy.                Perform accounts receivable activities including but limited to, issue and review signed invoices and credit         memos; follow procedures for inventory proof of delivery and returns.  Inspect vehicle and maintain vehicle / driver records, current license plates and insurance, and routine         maintenance as required by company procedures and DOT / State regulations; report any issues with vehicle,         accidents or driving violations promptly. Participates with Administration in daily inventory and product return reconciliations; Verify all scheduled         product deliveries were completed.          Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications 3 years’ of driving/route sales experience Fully fluent in Spanish and intermediate proficiency in English (DOT Requirement) Valid driver’s license for state of residence, and vehicle insurance as required by state. CDL may be required         based off route requirements  MVR which meets Bar-S driving standards with review by Bar-S Human Capital  Proficient with Microsoft office, including skills with Outlook, Word and Excel  Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Physical Requirements Able to sit and drive for a full shift of at least 8 hours. Able to climb up/down, in/out of truck cab and truck body. Able to stand for at least 4 hours. Can repeatedly lift and move 30 pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or cart/hand-truck. Can repeatedly turn, twist, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push or pull to move 30 pounds.  Able to repeatedly move 75 pound load on a cart/hand-truck without assistance.
