Senior Geometallurgist 

Barrick is looking for a Senior Geometallurgist to join our Processing team. This role will be in charge of Improve our orebody knowledge by linking the metallurgical test work results with the geological resource modelling, developing geometallurgical domaining to ensure effective orebody management, minimizing technical and operational risk to ultimately provide more robust operation.

 

Qualifications:

Degree in Geology/Geoscience/Metallurgy Relevant experience working on gold and copper ore deposits. Demonstrated at least 7 years of geoscience or metallurgy throughout the resource value chain. Demonstrated technical expertise in geometallurgy and its incorporation into resource and reserve models. Basic mine geology and drilling knowledge. Data analysis and management for decision-making. Solid working knowledge of Vulcan or Leapfrog (or similar), MS Office and statistical analysis software.
