My client is recruiting for a Public Protection Officer – Food and Health & Saftey based within the local Authority in East London and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities
To support robust project management for the service.To complete compliance, enforcement and project work within the Public Protection Service to ensure the delivery of a high quality customer focused specialist enforcement service within a performance management regime.To work on defined areas within the Public Protection Service as defined by your Line Manager.To support the Public Protection Management Team to ensure the service operates in an effective, efficient and collaborative manner creating positive outcomes and continual service improvement.Requirements
Experience in the food safety industry Degree, diploma or relevant academic or professional qualification (or equivalent) essential.Current driving license.Local Authority exsperience Contract 
Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend PAYE via Umbrella Monday to Friday9am to 5pm As the role is Local Authority based candidates will be asked to complete an onboarding & compliance checks including DBS & Online training modules prior to starting.
