The primary purpose of the Public Health Representative, Per Diem position is to support all aspects of research efforts in a study of breast cancer survivors in New Jersey, including subject recruitment, case/participant scheduling, conducting in-person home interviews for data/biospecimen collection, maintaining databases, and monitoring the progress toward achieving study goals. Requires working some evenings and weekends and extensive travel within the Gateway Region in New Jersey to conduct home or site visits for data collection and/or to participate in recruitment activities.

Among the key duties of the position are the following: Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, responsible for scheduling and conducting in-person study at participants’ homes for data/biospecimen collection using structured questionnaires, organizing telephone schedule and call records to participants, attend study meetings and performing related duties as needed. Maintains participant’s records in electronic database and ensures their confidentiality. Participates in study meetings. Participates in all phases of the study and ensures compliance with the study protocol. Acts as a role model for corporate integrity, customer service and improved quality. Performs other related duties as assigned. Position Status Per Diem Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date.
