YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR SUCCESS!This is a full-time, in-person Paid Summer Internship! Must be able to start on June 2, 2025 and the internship ends on August 29, 2025.
Schedule: 8:30am to 5:30pm with a 1-hr lunch (In Office Mon/Tue/Wed and Remote Thu/Fri)
An overview of the potential responsibilities for the internship with Public Health Division Atlanta include:
Learn and execute HIV and other STI screenings.Social media engagement activities.Learn and execute Pre and post-test health screen counselingResource Development with community partners.Increase knowledge of best practices for HIV/ STI Prevention methods.Support staff with outreach activities in the community in a non-clinical/mobile setting. Develop and create a community testing activity for the department to deliver.Attend meetings to increase knowledge of federal, state, and local public health agencies.Education and/or Experience
Currently enrolled or Post Grad in a 4-year college/university with a major in Public Health or related field.
