The Publix Technology Services (PTS) Support Technician position will provide IT technical support for the Nashville, TN area to primarily include installation, lifecycle, hardware repair, and preventive maintenance of IT hardware encompassing desktop computers, servers, laser, and thermal printers, point of sale, barcode scanners, weighing devices, and networking systems. This position supports Publix retail stores and involves traveling between them to perform on-site work. Shifts for this position are variable, based on the demands of current projects or support schedule, and will involve overnight, evening, early morning, and/or daytime work depending on the task. Up to 60-70% of the work performed will be between 6:00pm and 6:00am Monday thru Friday. On occasion, Sunday night work may be required. This position will augment support in other areas when needed.
