PTP Manager (secondment) Job Description: The role manages the purchasing and payables processes ensuring it meets the current and future needs of the business and is reflecting the underlying business terms and Sage policies. The role manages the team to ensure timely and accurate processing, as well as continuous improvement initiatives. This is a 1 year contract, with hybrid working (3 days per week in the office). Key Responsibilities: Summary of the Role This role focuses on managing the purchasing and payables process while delivering exceptional service and optimizing efficiency. You’ll lead a team, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements to align with business goals and industry standards. What I Will Be Doing You’ll oversee the end-to-end purchasing and payables process, resolving supplier queries efficiently and ensuring deadlines are met. Leading and developing your team, you’ll foster a customer-focused, service-oriented culture while driving performance and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll manage KPIs, support strategic planning, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations. Additionally, you’ll participate in companywide projects, handle acquisitions or disposals, and collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and refine processes. What We Are Looking For We’re seeking a proven leader with at least five years of experience supervising P2P teams, preferably in a technology environment. You should have strong expertise in accounts payable, end-to-end P2P activities, and ERP systems, with a focus on continuous improvement and SLA management. Knowledge of SOX compliance and experience in system implementations are desirable. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled in motivating and managing a team while delivering measurable results.
